USADF is an international Foundation under the 501(c) 3 category, committed to achieving a better and more sustainable quality of life in the United States and Africa. Established in 1995 (renamed in 2002) by African graduate students (now professional Africans in Diaspora in the US) at the University of North Carolina, North Carolina State University, Duke University and North Carolina Central University, USADF has designed and managed African and American charitable activities in the areas of science, education, health and information technology that have reached hundreds of thousands of people on both sides of the Atlantic and worth over $3,500,000 in the last decade. African and American schools and hospitals have benefited from our charitable giving, usually predominantly made up of donations by American people and businesses.
